Hello we are Rob and Sarah, a husband and wife team, and the owners of Handmade by Hephaestus! We have a love for all things metal.

Rob has over 25 years experience in welding and fabricating, seeing his talents go to waste was such a shame for me being his wife. So, we wanted to create some handmade pieces and it took off!

We make everything from small metal items for your garden or home ,nut and bolt men, bespoke one off custom pieces at your request, the list is endless

Rob has worked on stainless handrails, balustrades ,car exhausts, items for marine and ministry sectors too! some of his motorcycle exhausts have been entered into major competitions and his work has gone all around the world.

We mainly work in stainless steel, with the occasional pieces in mild steel, but we can weld aluminium and brass too.

​

As well as making custom art pieces, we also offer full aspects of Mig and Tig welding and fabrication. We can also offer small scale shot blasting and powder coating, and we have cnc plasma cutting ability
